The cookies are best for 2-3 days generally. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and roll the balls in sugar. How much of the salted butter (or salt) you use depends on the flavor you want. It may cause them to spread a little bit more, so you may consider reducing the sugar in the cookies a little bit.
